    Hello and Welcome
    If you own an AB Dick 9800-9900 Model Offset Press, then you know that every so often you'll bump into the table raise crank and break the tip off the table raise shaft. This can cost hundreds of dollars for a new shaft plus the time to remove and re-install the shaft.
    As a former service and repair tech, for an independent AB Dick Repair shop, we thought out of the box and had a machinist custom make a retrofit repair screw for the crank shaft.
    You just simply file down the broken piece on the shaft flat and then you drill a hole into the center of the shaft ( You may want to have a machinist make you a guide sleeve for the hole), tap out the hole and screw in the retrofit machined screw ( You can add some loctite to keep screw in tight). Make sure you figure out the threading on the screw to use the right drill bit and tap; all I remember is that it's
    standard thread.
    This screw is one of kind and it will save you both TIME and MONEY!!   Please see picture as there are no returns.
