    Description

    Lionel O Scale BN SD-40 Engine
    This engine was built in 1985 and has been used a little but all the detail look new
    The paint on this engine looks new and looks great
    The engine was tested and it dose run but the e-unit is sticky and will not change direction sometimes
    I know this was a problem with a lot of the BN #8585 as they were known to have sticky e-unit.
    I added an extra new e-unit that was given to my dad back in the late
    1980s but my dad and I put the e-unit in the BN engine box and never took care of this issue.
    Photo # 7 -- front left of the 8585 on the roof is a finger print smug and I did not see it when
    I took the pictures  (when I saw the photo I quickly got the engine and the smug came off right away)
    and the engine looks like a perfect paint job
