Royal Standard 3 Piece Tea Set Footed Cup, Saucer & Dessert Plate Blue Flower

The item for sale is a three piece tea service that was made in England during the second half of the twentieth century by Royal Standard.  The set includes a teacup, a matching saucer and matching dessert plate.  The decoration is groups of beautiful blue flower blossoms with some leaves on a white ground.   Gold gilt embellishes the edges of the plates plus the foot and handle of the cup. The condition is essentially the same as when made.  There are no chips, cracks, wear nor other types of damage.  The set was likely part of a collection and not used to serve tea.  The diameters of the plates are 5 3/4" and 7 3/4".  The height and diameter of the cup without the handle are 2 3/4" and 3 1/2".
