SCBA Thread Protection, Plastic, one time use

These SCBA thread protectors are awesome.   If you refill SCBA cylinders, you know that rough handling can damage the threads.
In my company we filled thousands of SCBA's for Fire Department and would install these one time use thread protectors over the threads to protect the valve during handling.     After Hydro-testing and refilling, we didnt want the threads to get knocked around in the van making the delivery.   So each cylinder got one of these simple, efficient caps.    It saved us from replacing SCBA valves damaged from rough handling.
The Fire Departments we delivered the cylinders to with these protective thread covers, liked them so much they bought boxs of 2500 at a pop from us to use after they refilled their SCBA Cylinders.
Easy on, easy off and they work.   But they only work once then you toss them
This was a box of 2500?  There has to be at least 2000 in the box, but I am not counting them.   It could be more or less, I have no actual idea, I just know there are a lot as the box is almost full to the top.   I put a photo of the box so you can get a feel for the size.
But dont hold me to the quantity, I can tell you, I do not know and make no representation to the actual number in the box.
I am selling the entire box at less than 1/2 the cost we paid for them.
